Did you know?
"A woman’s inborn capacity to excel is 16 times more than a man’s.
If she just has self-esteem that she’s a woman, there’s no power on Earth that can make her do wrong.
Woman is priceless.” - Yogi Bhajan July 12, 1984
“Not only are you powerful, you are prestigious. Not only are you prestigious, you are beautiful.
Not only are you beautiful, you are consciousness. Not only are you consciousness, you are the spirit.
Not only are you the spirit, you are the security of the future, the most bountiful beauty ever God created.
Men call it ‘woman.’” - Yogi Bhajan July 23, 1984
“The greatest beauty in you is that if you become sacred, your price will go up.
If you want to protect your future, never act cheap. If you want to be free, never control anything—it will drag you to death.
If you want to be respected, never nag. And if you want to be loved, then deliver.
Let your words mean what you say.” - Yogi Bhajan July 4, 1995
THE RADIANT POWER OF A WOMAN
“Never before have we as a global group of women been holding so much potential, so much power, to shape our collective future.
Yet, what is the pathway to awakening the fullness of our authentic power as women?
Where should we put our energy and attention in order to make our greatest contribution?
And how might we work together and support each other in this process?
Ladies, now is the time for us to understand and step into our Grace. Our society has changed and will continue to change.
The consciousness of the planet is shifting back into the feminine. We are the mothers of this Earth. Without us, we would all cease to exist.
With this comes a great responsibility. We must stop mistaking our sexuality as our power. We must understand what the word Grace
means, for it is the foundation to all that we hold. It is our roots, our power and our greatest gift.” - Wahe Kaur
IMAGINE A WOMAN
Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is a woman.
A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories.
Who refuses to carry the sins of others within her body and life.
Imagine a woman who trusts and respects herself.
A woman who listens to her needs and desires.
Who meets them with tenderness and grace.
Imagine a woman who acknowledges the past’s influence on the present.
A woman who has walked through her past.
Who has healed into the present.
Imagine a woman who authors her own life.
A woman who exerts, initiates, and moves on her own behalf.
Who refuses to surrender except to her truest self and wisest voice.
Imagine a woman who names her own gods.
A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness.
Who designs a personal spirituality to inform her daily life.
Imagine a woman in love with her own body.
A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is.
Who celebrates its rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.
Imagine a woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body.
A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom.
Who refuses to use her life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life.
Imagine a woman who values the women in her life.
A woman who sits in circles of women.
Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.
Imagine yourself as this woman. © Patricia Lynn Reilly, 1995
If You Want to Change the World, Love a Woman (2008) by Lisa Citore
When a fairly spiritual male friend of mine who had finally found and was deepening into committed relationship with his soul mate
confided in me he was thinking of being single again, and in the next breath expressed his latest idea for raising consciousness
worldwide, I wrote this poem.
